What? SLOBO is an after school club designed to encourage and promote a healthy, physical, outdoor activity through the use of a mountain bike. Participants will ...
- mountain bike the trails behind the school
- learn basic equipment repair as problems occur on the trail
- help maintain the trails behind the middle school
- make new friends with students who share your passion
Who? Any registered grade seven or grade eight student from the Silver Lake Regional School Disctict who has their own mountain bike and helmet.
Where? We ride mostly on the district owed property surrounding the school. Off property trips and special weekend trips to various Massachusetts State Parks are also planned.
When? During the school year, we have weekly rides or meetings on Friday afternoons from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Since there are no late buses on Fridays participants will need to provide their own transportation.
At the end of the ride (4:00 P.M.) parents should meet the riders in the parking lot between the Middle School and the administration building.
